KGB (Killer Gourmet Burger), Bangsar

I am really slow in catching up with the Burger craze! So we were strolling around Bangsar looking for food to fill our stomach and we came across KGB (Killer Gourmet Burger)!

Our Burgers, Bash and Bobcat! Both of us loved their patties to the bits! Very flavourful.

Botanical BVII (Now Closed)

Although I am a coffee addict but I have been getting heart palpitations everytime I have a cuppa lately so I am forced to switch to tea. Botanical was one of the two restaurant by BIG which I haven't tried. We were waiting for a burger joint to open its doors so we decided to have a cup of tea while waiting.

Love love love the ambience!

We were not looking for something filling, so Red Velvet Cake it is! All-time favourite! RM13
Verdict: Savoury! Told you it is my all-time favourite, of course I loved every bite!

I had Crème Brûlée Tea and he had English Breakfast Tea RM10
Verdict: Earl Grey tea was what a cup of Earl Grey tea should taste. huh My Crème Brûlée tea was pretty good after adding in 1-2 cubes of brown sugar. Loved every sip! Don't you just love the exquisite tea cup set!?

The sugar cube container!

Him and I were arguing about this container. He said it looks like an ancient Chinese emperor's potty. huh? I thought it looks like a well, predictably, bathtub. How on earth does this look like a potty?

Overall, loved their teas, cakes and coffees. Service can be slow but bearable as the crew were attentive when needed.

Won Korean Restaurant. Haagen Dazs

Good afternoon from the office! haha Finished my task at hand might as well blog to kill time.
Super old post but it was in my draft inbox plus edited the photos so might as well post it. hehe

Tom and I celebrated our Valentine's day in the most simple way. We had my favourite Korean food at Won Korean Restaurant in Isetan 1 Utama.

A random auntie having lunch

Here you can see her jimui (sisters)

Look to the right

He looks to the left

The. Best. Naeng Myeon (cold noodles)! Hands down.

His dolsot bibimbap. He only eats this so I figured he's not used to Korean food. Must think of other options next time!

Seafood Pancake!

Their famed side dishes

After having our lunch, we walked around the mall and he told me it's - Dessert time!

Unfortunately, they were out of the Valentine's Day special menu. ;(

We settled with this. He consoled me by telling me that we are lucky we got the round ice-cream because the heart-shaped ones is lesser in portion. So unromantic but economical. hahaha

He's wearing my favourite Fred Perry tee! My handsome fat!

Only love the bananas because I don't like apples and raw strawberries!

Yummy and creamy ice-cream. =^~^=

It's gonna be our anniversary exactly 2 weeks from now. Hmm...hope he loves my suggestion although he's cincai with food. :)

Till next time,
Bye~

Zun Kitchenette. Ampang Pasar Yeong Tau Foo.

Nothing is greater than spending the weekend with people closest to you. I always look forward to spending time with Mr. L or my family outside. I'm a homely person but I still want to go out because the outside world is just full of yummy food! Even eating in dai pai tong makes me happy! #easilycontented

Our brunch started with me bringing Mr.L to my favourite restaurant near my house, The Zun Kitchenette.
Finally I get to pay! hahahaha He always pays for EVERYTHING to the point that I feel bad and guilty. Although he always tell me it's okay. So when he agreed, I was overjoyed! : D

I love this place mainly because of their healthy food. They use Eu Yan Sang's products to prepare their dishes mainly because the restaurant is own by EYS.

I tried out their Fragrant Lotus Rice. RM10.80. The fragrant was really noticeable and the name fits this dish very well. Everything was very well marinated and no artificial flavours used. I would definitely reorder if I ever revisit! The portion is quite large if you're not a big eater.

His Rice in Dried Scallop and Lean Meat Herbal Soup! RM16.80. Yummy as always! Though I think my all time favourite curry fish slices and vegetables pot is still the best! Come on, spicy food conquers all!

You can have a look on what they have to offer here: The Zun Kitchenette

Sorry, too hungry and forgotten to snap more pictures of the restaurant. :( The same thing happened for the shop below.

I don't remember what I did next up till dinner time. :X There's only food in my mind. hahaha

Weekend should be relaxing and we hate to queue or find parking so forget about going to KL! We've been visiting this Yong Tau Foo shop nearby a few times in the span of 2 months. Yummy food but super extremely slow service. All the food below took almost 1 hour to arrive. Is it that hard to prepare yong tau foo?

Missig their brinjal already! Ahhh...brinjal! The chilli was extremely spicy!

(Yong) Tau Foo. Hahahaha Okay, I know. Not funny.

Dad's favourite! I hate everything of it.

Dumplings! Yummy dumplings!

TGIF! Have a great weekend everyone! Still on CNY mood but uncle passed away so not feeling happy at all. :( My deepest condolences to all of them. Stay strong!

Coffee Stain by Joseph.

I was doing some last minute shopping over the weekend with Mr.L. I really appreciate how Mr.L could wait for me for hours shopping for clothes and stuffs. +1! He has very good eye for fashion and colour so he helped out quite a lot! So bonus boyfriend points again!

After a long walk, taking off and wearing my clothes a million times, I felt tired. I was thinking of getting a cup of coffee from my regular coffee place but while shopping, I saw a nicely furnished coffee kiosk has been set up at Parkamaya, Fahrenheit 88. I'm such a sucker for chic places!

The place is call Coffee Stain by Joseph! I've seen one in Publika but didn't get to try because I was in a rush.

The ordering counter. Menu board. Cute yellow lamps!

Cake display! Look at all those yummy cakes! Look at how organized and clean they are! *ocd*  I also love how they wrote the price using a white marker. So cute!

I was thinking of getting a latte machiato and the nice lady told me that they are having a lunar new year promotion which comes with a Raspberry Cake! RM16.90. I was actually very full from lunch but got it anyway because it looked so yummy! Indeed it was. Noooo, why didn't I have it again just now. :(

My Latte Machiato! I'm a Starbucks regular but Coffee Stain could be my new place! Yes, their coffee is that good and underrated! Go have a cup of your favourite and you'll believe me. Oh, don't you just love the fuku/ good fortune coffee art on top? :)

Mr.L's Cappuccino! Cute and neat heart shaped coffee art made by Masa-san the barista! It tasted really good too.

Maybe some brown sugar for you? If you don't like your coffee unsweetened.

Mr.L happily enjoying his cappuccino. Look at that unprepared face! hahahahahahaha

Hello, it's me, obviously. I look so tired here but it was a happy day. :)

Good night! Can't wait till it's lunar new year holiday! So many plans ahead! *cough* Food plans!

The Social, Bangsar. Amadeus Bistro and Bar.

Hello mid-twenties! To be honest I don't feel like I'm a year older. Pretty sure I've felt the same for the past 5 years or so. haha

So my birthday celebration started with going for a dinner at The Social, Bangsar. Actually he recommended another place in Menjalara but I was whining too much he had to give in. Poor man. :X The food was pretty good I have to say.

Appetizer: Chili Fries

I had a simple one for the main dish and a glass of juice.

Lamb Shank

He had a medium rare steak and a glass of Merlot.
the social air flown ribeye steak
We ended the night with a walk around Bangsar Village and he sent me home like a gentleman does.  :)

On the day of my birthday, it's time to celebrate with my family! Wish my man could be here but due to him just came back from an outstation conference, I think he should get some rest.

I actually have been hunting for new restaurant to try. Amadeus Bistro & Bar caught my eye while I was browsing the internet.

As starter, we had Crispy Salt & Pepper Calamari.

Time for our main dish! I had Simone’s Fish-e-Tarian Friend.

Dad had Schmikel’s Duck Confit.

Mom chose Marco's Chicken Scnitzel.

The rest of the day ended with jokes and laughter.

It was a good start for 2013 and also an older me.

Good night. :)
